Some of the work I am currently selling has been created on a BA Hons Design: Crafts degree, from which I graduated last year. The main disciplines in this degree were wood, metal and plastics, but there was also the option to try modules in different areas. I relished the opportunity to learn as many craft skills as possible, particularly enjoying ceramics, but it is metalwork that I really love. Now I specialise in organic sculpture, mainly in copper and natural materials such as twigs, and have also enjoyed taking up painting again. I have also rediscovered some of my previous crafty passions, going back to fabric painting, glass painting, Fimo modelling, and many other techniques which I have loved in the past.

I work in a variety of media to create unique works of art which explore the beauty and different possibilities of each material. My work is inspired by natural forms, and aims to reflect the natural beauty of these. I love making things, whether I am hammering a piece of metal into a tree shape, or delicately blending paint colours on a canvas to create an image. My paintings and sculpture compliment each other, in that everything I create is in my own particular organic style.
